Cerebral Palsy Alliance
Cerebral Palsy Alliance was founded in 1945 by parents of a child with cerebral palsy. Our organisation was the first of its kind in the world. Today we provide services to 4,000 people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities every year. We also work with more than 1,000 volunteers a year, who give an estimated $1 millon worth of their time. Our programs are based on targeted therapy, early intervention, and building family support for children and adults with cerebral palsy and their families.
Earlier this year, we changed our name from The Spastic Centre to Cerebral Palsy Alliance. We believe our new name will help us achieve a stronger profile, more clarity and an unambiguous focus on cerebral palsy.
